Welcome to He's Alive Church!

OUR MISSION IS BRINGING LIFE TO DEAD PLACES.

We have seen life rise up and out of some of the deadest places. If you do not have a personal relationship with Jesus, we want to help you learn what it means to be surrendered and committed to Him. If you do know Him, we want to help you fulfill the calling God has on your life. Everything we do is designed to execute our mission as best we can.

History

He's Alive Church began in 2013. It was birthed out of a group people who prayed and rallied together to seek God's will and purpose.

We started with Saturday Evening Worship Services. We had no physical address or location when we began. The Lord provided Wilmar Park Baptist Church in Concord, NC as a meeting place every Saturday night. Those were good years of growth and simplicity for us in sharing space with Wilmar Park. They were very gracious to us.

As the church began to grow, the search was on for land or a building that could sustain the growth. After much prayer, we stepped out in faith and moved to our current building in Kannapolis, NC. God moved mountains for us to inhabit the building within three months of this decision! Our first services in Kannapolis were December of 2015.

Beliefs

The Trinity We believe God exists as one substance in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Although each member of the Trinity serves different functions, they each possess equal power and authority.

God We believe God is a God of love. He is faithful, all powerful, all knowing, ever present, never changing, holy, and completely worthy of our trust. It is in Him that we live, move, and find our existence.

Jesus We believe Jesus is the Son of God. While still being completely God, He became human in order to become God’s only plan of salvation to a lost world. In dying on the cross, he defeated death, sin, and hell, and in His resurrection, He brought us into right relationship with God and brought life to all.

The holy spirit We believe the Holy Spirit guides us in our life in Christ and assures us of our relationship with God. He convicts us of our sin, comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts to strengthen the Church, and helps us worship, serve, and exalt Christ.

Salvation We believe the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. God freely offers salvation and life to those who place their faith and trust in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as payment for their sin and the basis for their life.

The Bible We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God for all people, written by men as they were led by the Holy Spirit. It is the truth without error and has the power to transform, making it completely relevant to our daily lives.

Humanity We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship, relationship, and full life with Him, but we became alienated from that life and relationship through our sin and rebellion. As a result, we are unable to attain salvation and a right relationship with God through our own efforts.

Eternity We believe every man will exist eternally, either separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. Both Heaven and Hell are eternal places; to be eternally separated from God is Hell, to be eternally in union with Him is eternal life in Heaven.

The Church We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, united under Jesus as its Head. The Church works together to glorify God and make Him known to the lost world.

Principles

Scripture God’s Word is the foundation for our collective and daily lives. We will seek to teach and live it with accuracy, passion, and creativity.

Prayer Prayer is absolutely essential to our individual and corporate life and mission.

Worship Collective and individual worship is the heartbeat that drives our mission and principles. We will seek to live it out joyfully, passionately, expectantly, and with creativity and excellence.

Outreach We are actively and consistently seeking to go beyond our doors in bringing life to dead places through missions, evangelism, and outreach.

Shared Experience We are in relationship with one another, we help and take care of each other, fellowship and have lots of fun together. Most importantly, we are in ministry together collectively, realizing that in order to fulfill our mission, we must be a Body of participants and not simply spectators.

Creative Arts We believe God created the Arts. As a result, creativity and excellence in the Arts (music, drama, media, dance, etc) will be a focal point for how we worship, bring life to, and reach those in our community, region, and world.

Thankfulness We are a thankful Church, always giving testimony to the faithfulness of our God and making sure we pause and create space to give Him thanks and praise. In response to God’s faithfulness, we will be faithful physically, spiritually, emotionally, and financially.
